John Paul White, indie folk artist and former member of the Grammy Award-winning duo, The Civil Wars, delivers a vocally rich performance inside MSU's Humphrey Coliseum [Friday, Oct 18.] Accompanied by the classical sounds of Starkville Symphony Orchestra, led by conductor Dr. Daniel B. Stevens, department head of MSU's Department of Music, the show featured an array of White's catalouge, including a rare performance of "Safe and Sound," a hit song written for acclaimed dystopian film "The Hunger Games."

Accompanied by the classical sounds of the Starkville-MSU Symphony Orchestra, the show featured a variety from White's catalogue, including a rare performance of the Grammy Award-winning hit "Safe and Sound," written for the dystopian film "The Hunger Games."
