Assistant Professor Sorina Popescu of the Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Entomology and Plant Pathology speaks Wednesday [Aug. 1] with Paulino Jarquin, a senior biological engineering/biomedical engineering major from Nashville, Tennessee, during Mississippi State's Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium. For his project titled "The Potential for Punicalagin to be used as an Injection-based Therapy," Jarquin was advised by Professor Steve Elder in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering.
