Shawanda F. Brooks, a senior biological sciences major from Madison, was crowned Homecoming Queen Saturday [Oct. 29] during halftime of Mississippi State's win over Samford. She was escorted by her father, Percy Brooks. Saturday's game capped a weekend of homecoming events, including Maroon Madness at Humphrey Coliseum.
