Fun with Food Summer Camp participants watch Robert Cunningham of Starkville as he milks a cow under the direction of Kenneth Graves, a dairy herder for Mississippi State's Department of Animal and Dairy Sciences. Fun with Food camp is sponsored by MSU's Department of Food Science, Nutrition and Health Promotion, and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, as well as Kroger. Held each summer, it provides an opportunity for children to be involved with food from farm to table by experiencing food production, processing and preparation. Creativity, math, science, reading and writing are among the skills children develop through their participation in the camp.
