Mississippi State softball fans endured a few rain showers Friday night but watched the Lady Bulldogs knock off 11th-ranked Louisiana State, 7-2, during a Super Bulldog Weekend game at Nusz Park. This game was part of a weekend full of activities, including the Cotton District Arts Festival, an MSU baseball series against Texas A&M that drew nearly 34,000 total fans to Dudy Noble Field over three days, and the MSU football team's spring game at Davis Wade Stadium.
