Mississippi State sophomore architecture majors Amanda C. Kotecki of Arlington, Tennessee, front, and Hannah I. Hebinck of Madison, Alabama, put the finishing touches on the demonstration garden pavilion they and more than 60 architecture and building construction science students are constructing behind the university's Landscape Architecture facility. As part of the collaborative studio course in which they are enrolled, the students met last week to complete the final building component of the fall term. The rest of the semester, they will use the same set of materials to design a hypothetical Japanese tea house.
