Mississippi State University President Mark E. Keenum drives the ceremonial first nail at the site of the seventh annual Maroon Edition Habitat for Humanity home. MSU has partnered with the Starkville Area Habitat for Humanity to build a 1,200 square-foot home at No. 5 Hope Lane in north Starkville for a single mother and her four children. MSU's Maroon Volunteer Center is helping coordinate student volunteer efforts at the home site, and the home is expected to be complete by Thanksgiving.
