STARKVILLE, Miss.—Grammy Award-winning blues rock band Alabama Shakes will perform April 26 at Mississippi State.
Sponsored by the university’s student-staffed Music Maker Productions, the 7 p.m. concert will be held at the MSU Amphitheater. Admission is free to all.
Originating from Athens, Alabama, the group’s first full-length album, “Boys & Girls,” was listed at No. 34 on the Rolling Stone’s best albums for 2012. The gold-certified album earned three Grammy nominations, including a nod for Best New Artist.
