About this event

The Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Discovery at Mississippi State University works to advocate, cultivate and support undergraduate research efforts on campus for both students and faculty.

One major role of the unit is to help connect students with opportunities aligned with their intellectual interests and help educate them about appropriate expectations and progress. Students who engage in research can explore their passions at a high academic level and develop essential skills for future success at MSU and beyond.

Faculty play a crucial role in supporting undergraduate research and creative endeavors by mentoring interested students. Join us for this seminar to better understand the office’s goals and resources and how it can support faculty’s work with students.

Who should attend: faculty mentoring or interested in mentoring undergraduate research students.
