Dedicated to the proposition that a lot can be learned from the past, Mississippi State University's Judy and Bobby Shackouls Honors College is sponsoring a special event celebrating classical antiquity. Three humanities scholars are giving presentations during the afternoon program that is free to all. Presenters include Salvador Bartera, MSU assistant professor of classics; Michael Fontaine, professor of classics at Cornell University; and Timothy Moore, John and Penelope Biggs Distinguished Professor of Classics at Washington University in St. Louis.
