Famous Maroon Band St. extension to impact area traffic, parking

Construction to extend Famous Maroon Band Street to Robert L. Jones Circle begins Monday [Aug. 31].

The project will temporarily close a section of Catalpa Street south of the McCarty Building. Some parking along Catalpa Street and Robert L. Jones Circle also will be impacted.

Drivers and pedestrians are encouraged to use caution and follow posted signage while traveling through the construction area.

The project is scheduled for completion in March.
