RED-HOT POKERS - Kniphofia flowers, commonly called red-hot pokers, bloom in the research demonstration gardens at the R.R. Foil Research Center, better known as North Farm. Managed by MSU's Department of Plant and Soil Sciences and the Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station, the gardens provide a valuable resource for ornamental horticulture researchers, teachers and Extension specialists.
