Exhibit showcases Mississippi Craftsmen's Guild
The Colvard Student Union Art Gallery at Mississippi State announces the opening of "I am a Craftsman: Historical Perspective of the Mississippi Craftsmen's Guild." The exhibit runs through Aug. 26, with a 4-6 p.m. public reception scheduled Aug. 22 at the second-floor location.

Cinnella named Aerospace Engineering head
A professor with more than 20 years of experience as an educator will become the Bagley College of Engineering's Bill and Carolyn Cobb chair and head of the department of aerospace engineering. Pasquale "PC" Cinnella formally assumed his new role July 1.
Drackett new director for Crosby Arboretum
Pat Drackett will become the new director of Mississippi State University's Crosby Arboretum in Picayune. She has been the senior curator at the arboretum since 2007.
Covich named assistant men's golf coach
Mississippi State men's golf coach Clay Homan announced July 1 that Sean Covich has joined the Bulldogs as an assistant coach. Covich comes to Starkville from Meridian Community College where he headed a talented Eagle golf program the past five years.
Brocato again honored for excellence
The American Society for Engineering Education has again recognized its Mississippi State campus representative for superior service. In June, ASEE honored John Brocato for both most professional members recruited and highest percentage faculty membership in the Southeast section.
