Conditions remain extremely dangerous across Mississippi, with a reported tornado on the ground in Meridian.

Potentially serious weather is expected in the noon-3 p.m. time frame in the Golden Triangle area.

Continue to monitor all local news outlets and take all precautions for safety.

--If you hear a siren, seek shelter in the nearest building.

--Do NOT go into your vehicle when a siren sounds.

--Seek shelter on the bottom floor of a building, either an interior hallway or basement, if available.

--Stay away from windows and doors.

--If a tornado approaches, assume a kneeling position facing a wall and cover your head with your arms.
