Research lab seeking specific blood donors

A campus research lab, Medical micro-Device Engineering Research Lab, is seeking blood donors for AB+ and B-.

MDERL researchers explore the use of microdevices with the goal of developing medical diagnostic devices to detect and quantify diseases and disease progression--all within a single drop of blood.

If you would be willing to donate a small vial of blood via Longest Student Health Center trained personnel, e-mail Soumya K. Srivastava at to schedule an appointment. You will be asked to provide proof of blood type, but other personal information will not be recorded and all will be kept completely confidential. A small monetary gift of $5 will be given to donors.
