English offering studying, teaching abroad

The English Department is offering students the opportunity to study and teach abroad in Mexico this summer.
The class is available to graduate and undergraduate students of all majors.
Participants can experience the culture, history, people, and language of Mexico through an intercultural learning environment. The class, EN 4990/6990 (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages Practicum), will be co-hosted by LaSalle Schools in Monterrey, Mexico. It will involve three weeks of classroom discussions, English as a foreign language teaching experience, interactive tours, and activities. Students are responsible for tuition only. Airfare, room and board are provided.
