YOUTH EDUCATION

 

 MAJOR ACTIVITIES:

  • Establishing and implementing a comprehensive youth education and outreach program with a primary focus in environmental education
  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication with representatives of governmental agencies, educational institutions, public and private environmental groups and others.
  • Developing successful liaison with educational coordinators on local, state and regional levels.
  • Devising, coordinating and implementing plans for meetings, workshops and conferences, for environmental issues.
  • Preparing educational information and background materials, exhibits and displays, for key environmental issues.
  • Providing support to field-level youth programs on environmental and related issues. This includes in-service training, dissemination of environmental information and education programming and Internet guidance.
